02 · THE SERVICE

Ordering by QR code

Yum cha used to be done by cart: you hailed the server, lifted the lids, chose by sight. It was charming — and the baskets cooled as they rolled between tables. At Impérial the cart has given way to a QR code on your table, and dim sum has gained back its most precious thing: the steam.

Scan the code: the full menu opens on your phone, with photos, in three languages. Tick what you like — four bites or forty — and send. The order goes straight to the kitchen, and every piece is cooked to order. Nothing waits under a lamp; baskets reach your table the moment they leave the steamer.

A few regulars' tips: start with the classics — hargao, siu mai, rice rolls — then add one fried piece and a dessert. Re-order whenever you like: that's what it's for. And the tea? Complimentary, the pot refilled throughout your meal.

First come, first served at midday — except groups of 20 or more.
